Product Overview

YuanXing Electronics is a leading supplier of high-quality magnetic components for B2B manufacturers focused on industrial and utility-grade energy, including smart grid and accurate instrumentation Current Transformers for Electricity Meter. These products are designed as a perfect fit within the electric Metropolitan Electric Metering Device area of business and encompass the best in current transformer metering technology to enable OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to provide products with precise and dependable performance.

The metering current transformer product line’s key element is advanced material science. The use of high-permeability toroidal cores made from premium grade nanocrystalline or nickel alloy materials is essential to achieve the accuracy and wide linear measuring range required for revenue metering applications. The performance and suitability of measuring current transformers — subject to IEC 61869-2 Part 2 Accuracy Classes of 0.1 and 0.2 — are made possible using our nanocrystalline core technology, which has superior saturation flux density and thermal stability compared to standard ferrite cores so that the electrical ct meter will operate reliably over a large load current range — from very low to very high surges.

The design philosophy is based on mechanical robustness and environmental resilience. Each current transformer for metering is manufactured from PBT resin with a UL flame rating of 94-V0. The internal components are fully encapsulated in high performance epoxy which forms a hermetic seal that protects the sensitive internal winding and core assemblies from moisture, dust and vibration. This design provides excellent isolation current capability of 2500V for one minute, and dielectric resistance of 1000 MΩ at 500 Vdc. Also, to protect delicate downstream metering circuitry from grid instability, our transformers have a surge withstand rating of 5000V (one millisecond standard shock wave), making these ct metering an excellent choice for field deployed applications.

YuanXing has an exceptionally wide range of ct metering transformers to meet varied engineering requirements. With over 30 standard sizes available, our current transformers for metering are designed for easy PCB mounting or integration with lead wire. Current transformers such as the TA2011, TA22B11, and TA2411 are designed for broad input ranges from 1.5A through 120A, and offer various transformation ratios of 1000:1, 2000:1 and 2500:1. This versatility permits system designers to choose the proper current transformer component that meets both their spatial limitation and their electrical ct meter requirements.

The operation frequency ranges between 50Hz-400Hz, so it can be used with both standard power-utility grid systems and unique industrial jobs. The standard temperature range of an indoor meter is -25°C +55°C (-13°F +131°F). There are also high-durability meters with extended temperature ranges of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F-185°F) to accommodate outdoor or uncommonly harsh conditions.

When you choose YuanXing Electronics as your supplier, you can count on a supply chain dedicated to providing quality products that meet all compliance regulations. current transformers for metering by YuanXing Electronics for the purpose of metering are all compliant with RoHS regulations and have been subjected to a strict-quality-control process prior to shipment. Whether you are developing the new generation of smart meters, industrial power monitors, or an energy management system, current transformer metering solutions from YuanXing provide the linearity, safety, and accuracy needed to enable your product to meet the requirements for certification for sale in most countries across the globe. Trusting YuanXing Electronics will be the foundation of your ct metering network, providing the performance needed for long-term reliability.
